    thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I’ve been able to contact Takashi Arai and am now considering of purchasing stuff from him…the whole process is abit overwhelming, the whole process seems to be a lot more alchemy than photography but I am loving every minute of it…I will need to ensure safety first.

    I am currently going to try my luck with small ones first, following Takashi’s 6×6 plates…I just won a few plate adapters on ebay for a Hassy..but I don’t have a Hassy :).

    I remembered as a kid, I used to polish coins to a fine mirror like texture taking out whatever embossed figure it had and I remembered it being a big pain…I hope 20 years after (at 33), I would still have the patience for this…

    the more I read about dag, the more I love it but the scarier it gets as well…does it make sense to probably create the same setup as the video did for the fume hood? paint it with a fluorescent background and light it up w black light so we can at least see the vapors that we’re dealing with during development?
