    Hello,
My name is Tanner and I’m new do this style of photograph.
I have know clue on how to start. If some one has any good books on the how too’s of the proses that would be grate. Also I am vary crafty so would also like any place I can get plans to build my own equipment. I will also take any advise on how to even start.

    Thanks,
    Tanner

Hi Tanner- Welcome to the site. The first place to start, if you haven’t found it already is the Resources Page. You will find many hours of instructive reading there.

Thanks Andy for the advise. I have looked at all the resources and do have a vary good idea of how the proses works. My questions is what camera should I use to start out with, box or modern 35mm with an adapter ect? Wear do I get the copper plates from, or can I get a sheet and cut my own and if so how thick of copper. Wear can I get the associated equipment and what do I really need to start out with. I love to better my knowledge and understanding of things by reading books so is there a good modern book on the proses or is it just old books. I have many, many, many more questions but I will save them for now.

    Thanks
    Tanner
