New to daguerreotype

    Hi to all, I never produced a daguerreotype.

    My first problem is to find (I live in Italy) the copper plate plated with silver.

    The second is try (also used) a sensitizing box.

    Can you help me ?

    Hi Eolo, There is a vast amount of information on this forum to assist you in making a sensitizing box, and how to make the base silver plated copper. I do sell our 1/4 plate size copper plates electroplated with silver ready to be polished and sensitized. Price is $40US each plus shipping.
