Hello, I make image cases using modern methods and materials. Now before you say my cases are not authentic here me out. I make my cases by making a mold of an original case, this mold is so exact in detail that even the age of the case is apparent. Every line, wear marks, every minor flaw from the original is there. People that own one of my cases will say they look old.

I have nothing but respect the people that make cases using an authentic process. I also have a respect for the original case makers. I make my cases to honnor them. To preserve there original artwork for everyone to enjoy in a modern way.

My cases are made of a urathane resin. They are impact, chip, moisture, mildew resistaint.

The color goes all the way through the case and is uv resistaint.

I feel my cases are the most durable cases I’ve seen

and because of the modern methods I use, my cases are very resonable in price.

My cases are not ment to compete with the others on the market, I will never see one in a museum

My cases are for the people that want to preserve and display the images they hold dear, antique or contempory.

    Thank you for reading

    Mike

    Hey Mike, Welcome to cdags.org!

Its great see more folk making quality enclosures for hard images these days. I have a link list on the resources page of our ilk, which is up to 8:

There is also a gallery for contemporary cases, which I can add your new images to:

    also one for passe partout:

I hear you on the die engravers art, I have thought of delving into that but the demand for my cases is to have the case enhancing view but not detracting from it. Basically I keep to a understated but detailed look. I also like the feel of leather and wood , particularly my especially treated Morocco grain goatskin which I have been applying to my cases over the last year or so.

Other galleries you might find of interest are in the vintage equipment galleries where I have posted images of vintage cases and passe partout:

Hey these are great! I wish I had known about you 6 weeks ago! You would have saved me $500! I had to case two 1/4 plates in contemporary thermoplastic cases for a client that didn’t want leather.

    Well done!
