Shedding a few items I purchased from Mark Kessell a few years ago.

Mercury pot – will accommodate up to 4″ x 5″ plate, inserts for 1/4 and 6th plate, controller and heating element work good. $1250.00

(2) used large format buffs 11″ x 24″ $50.00 ea

(4) 8″ x 10″ unused electroplated plates. $125.00/ea or $450.00 as a lot

(6) 4″ x 5″ unused electroplated plates. $50.00/ea or $275.00 as a lot

(14) 4″ x 5″ used electroplated plates. $25.00 ea $300.00 as a lot

I just signed up for this site and also am way beginner in dag-making. Would be interested in the 4×5 plates though – unused especially, but would like to know how many microns are on there and also how many times you used the ‘used’ 4×5 plates too.

So I got these second hand sometime ago. Unfortunately I don’t recall what Mark told me as far as the coating thickness. Other plates in period sizes that I have used from him have provided several images before subsequent buffing started showing copper on the edges.
