My name is James Dryden and I have been set a project to find out the process of creating a Daguerreotype focusing mainly on the work of an assistant that would be used.
If you could pass on any information about the work of a Daguerreotype assistant in particular, or point me in the right direction of where I could read up on this, then I would be eternally grateful.
I have already researched into the actual process but wondered if you had any insight into the purpose and jobs of the assistant.
