Details of how to submit your daguerreotypes to the international juried exhibit in NYC next year are on the exhibitions new info website – www.ImageObject.com – in the submissions section.
Daguerreotypists should note the opportunity of the exhibited plates being available for sale (should they so desire) through the exhibit, which is on at the time of the AIPAD show in NYC. Submitters now have 5 months to submit their artworks for selection. First prize in the inaugural is worth $600 with $250 for second place and $150 for third. The exhibition will run from March 28-April 7th, 2013, for 11 days – the gallery space will be open 3 – 7 pm daily.
